s2000 motors are not as common as civic motors....the parts are definately gonna show up somewhere and I am sure they will be caught.

Nice for the track/weekends, but personally I dont like having to rev my engine way high up just to get some power out of it on a day to day basis.

That engine into the back of my Beetle would be sweet. But damn. Surprised they left the convertible top.

they probably slashed the top to get in the car.

Looks like the owner lives in Fresno. How typical of the city I grew up in (well actually I grew up in Clovis 😉). Auto theft has been a big problem in Fresno for a long time. Sucks for that guy.

Whats sad is some fools is gonna insert the s2000 guts into a crummy Civic.

That's exactly where they're going. Hope whoever does it gets nailed for something and they check the VIN code on the engine.

I doubt it. You almost certainly can't use that tranny in a civic because of how the driveshaft comes out from the tranny. And then, I'm not sure that engine bolts up to any other tranny. Finally, the s2k engine isn't really significantly better than the other engines that already do fit in the civic when you consider the number of mods out there. Getting 240 HP NA from the new generation K series is easy crap.
