Is it hard to get to the places needed to pop the timing belt cover off to examine the condition of it? I haven't worked with that gen Eclipse, so I have no idea.

Well...if this doesn't fix it....I'm torn between throwing new injectors at it, or replacing the belt/water pump. The injectors are obviously cheaper, but that might not be the fix I need. Crossing my fingers that my 1st set of plans resolves everything.

I've had extremely good luck with Motorman's remanufactured injectors.
