DIY Photoshop guide/Dreamweaver.

Anyone know where I can get a PS guide? I need to know how to make business cards and party promotion designs, and also need to learn how to build websites.

Theres a nice market for freelance designers of GFX and Websites and I'd like to get into it.I know a few people locally who are willing to use my abilities as a designer...but I need to know how to design 1st.

I have PS but I don't even know how to use it...I need to put it to good use.

Thanks!

Step 1. Open PS
Step 2. Press F1

Seriously...the help file in photoshop is incrfedibly helpfull. Other than that just google free photoshop tutorials for basic stuff.

My family wants to employ me a tech/designer I can already handle the tech part but they are willing to let me gain some knowledge on the design part.
I want to learn Dreamweaver for extra.

The Photos isn't technically pirated,my family owns a nice business and has the official copy and I have that copy on our work machines and one at home I get thats "technically" piracy but it was paid for and used on only 2 systems...yea piracy FTW "rolls eyes".

And thanks for the guides,I will be reading em all day today, you guys are amazing 🙂

There is nothing to learn in Dreamweaver.. it's just drag and drop html code.. if you want to be a real skilled web developer / designer then you need to learn how to code semantic, standards compliant XHTML, CSS, unobtrusive Javascript, etc.

That sounds complicating,I hope this will be covered in my classes when I start College.

HTML is just common sense, CSS is a bit harder and Javascript is the hardest of the 3, but
they're relatively easy compared to programming languages such as C++, PHP, ASP.NET, etc.
