diy mini lcd's

Hello,
Sorry if this topic doesnt belong here, just didnt know where to ask so i just put it in general. But anyways, awhile ago i came across a site that explained how to use character lcd's ( Like these ) to let u monitor cpu temp or even display what MP3 you are currently playing etc. It can display anything you want, but you would have to program it Basicly its like a DIY site, that gives tutorial on how to make it.

Does anyone know where i can find this kind of info?? DIY lcd monitoring.....

any info would be great

that would be one hell of a great case mod . . .. . i have no clue about it tho. In OffTopic somone posted a case mod that had an LCD thingy in front. I would like info on how to do this as well. It wasn't explained, but he showed how to physically mount it. No clue about setting it up. i think the website was bit-tech.com or something along those lines. they might go into further depth in another article.
