In a large box or IB setup, the efficiency of the driver shouldnt be cause for using that much power. Seeing as its XBL^2, it doesnt suffer power compression as badly. Granted, it'd be fun to hit it with the full 1500 though. :D

Man, a local guy on HTF helped me build my Tempest enclosure, and HIS setup was insane...he gutted part of the underside to his basement's staircase and stuck a box in there. On the home theater side of the stairs, there were TWO Stryke AV-15s powered by a few Samsons.

That thing practically liquified my internals...and boy was I happy. :)

If thats something your interested in you can do a cut-through into an adjoining room or even into the atic, mounting the drivers on a baffle attached to the wall studs or roof studs. I've seen a few pics online of such things, some turn out very nicely.
