i bought space on dixiesys, but didn't know how to set it up, so it's just sitting there. I've had it for about two months i bet.

Mine's also down :(

I think it's time for me to consider switching to Manlius or another webhosting company.

The data center decided to reboot a router around 5PM 11-23.

They never really said "why" and it took roughly 53 minutes and every server but 3 of them (which are elsewhere still) was down.

There was also an unexplained 2 or 3 minute total network blackout about 5PM the day before (Friday 11-22).

Why is it so hard to find a good reliable place to put your servers? I'm sure paying out the nose for this data center I mean major bucks this is not a cheap DC we're in, not by a longshot. I'm paying $325 per mbit and $550 for the rack, if you check around you'll see that's definitely not "budget colo" by any means.

So, I got fed up, servers 21 and above are going to DV2, I've had a dedicated server out there for a year now and have been happy enough with them, they haven't had any major downtime, or problems, and when the harddrive crashed in my rented server they diligently worked on it to get me back online, so I'm gonna give up trying to keep servers close to home, it's obvious the Huntsville, AL area is a dead zone for quality colocation. But Atlanta sure as heck has some big boys (I can throw a rock from my server rack at DV2 and hit major Qwest, MCIWcom and several other backbones, I mean 5 INCH conduit.

Just know we're doing all we can to keep the service up to par but damn it's hard when you can't find a reliable colo.

You provide a good service, even though I don't use you guys and host myself, I can tell you are trying to do what you can and are doing a damn good job...

This is the only reason why I wont go into a real hosting business. There's too many people who want everything for damn near free and then since they actually paid what, $3 a month that's enough money for they to bitch about it... it's really sad :(

Keep up the good work though. You're one of the few who actually know how to do it and do it well.
