Divx's The Playa probs

I d/led divx's The Playa, and when I try to play a DIVX movie off a CD it says the location couldn't be opened with an error message. How can I solve this?
The message is: The location you selected could not be opened. That's the error message

Do I only have to install The Playa, or do i install any other codecs?

Did you install the DivX codec? You can get it here

I had the EXACT same problem. The solution? You need the Divx codec

And not the codec that is at www.divx.com (that is what baffled me at first), but the 3.11 version. Get it here.

just use windows media player and the divx codec.

yeah, the 3.11's helped! Any other codecs out there?
