divx5 codecs with WMP problems

I installed the newest divx codecs but there seems to be a problem with Windows Media Player, there are less colors appearing, so the picture looks kinda crappy. This problem is gone when I use the included divx player, but that C++ version doesn't seem to be as stable and doesn't utilize the Anti-freeze patch I added for WMP.

I guess my question is, does anyone know how to get Divx5 to run on WMP like it ran flawlessly with Divx3.11 and 4.12?

Thanks

Isnt that just another player based off the WMP? Did you have any problems with it with divx5 codec?

as far as it being based off of WMP i could be wrong but it doesnt seem to be at all. no bloatware, allows brigtness adjustments that affect only the prog not your whole monitor, allows preamp adjustments for low-volume vocal tracks in divx movies without changing windows volume controls, and is cool in countless other ways. i really recommend it!

o, and absolutely no problems with latest 5.01 divx codec.
