yeh i got a bunch of .avi or divx movies and i wanna put them on to cds so they dont take up so much damn space...some of the files are below 700mb and others are above...whats the best file format i should convert them into?? mpeg?? plus ill be wanting to watch these movies at college on my laptop which just has a normal cd player...so any recomendations on what i should do or what program i should get????
 
ah bad encodes, divx3.11 probably

cant remember the name of the program, check out doom9.org, its somewhere there and I guide I think

okay so i used virtual dub to cut the credits out at the end or change the frame rate but my audio is now out of sync with the video...how do i fix this??
 
why did u change the framerate ?

it's best to keep the framerate at whatever it was, cause as u noticed it causes sound desync.
