Divx to PocketPC question

Can anyone here give me a kinda step by step way to create divx files that i can play on my pocketPC?

i'd like to watch movies and/or TV shows on it, but i'm not experienced enough with making divx movies to know how to do it.

i have virtualdub and TMPGEnc, and i've turned divx into vcd's before, but never made divx, so i'm really not sure how to mess with the bitrate and stuff, and the one divx i did make and copied to my iPaq wouldn't play.
 
I already have pocket Divx, i was more concerned with the ability to take an existing mpeg file and compress it down to a small enough divx file that it will fit on my 128 meg CF card
