divx encoders

i use seti@home and i can use it in the background all day and not notice any lag even though it is using 100% cpu. i was wondering if yo guys know of any divx encoders that can work the same way. i never like have to make my comptuer unusable for 3+ hours just to encode a movie. my computer is to loud to leave on at night. if there is a program that has a really low thread prioroty then i can have it run all day to encode a movie.

Start your DIVX encoder, open Task Manager, click on the "Processes" tab, find the process that's doing your divx encoding, right click, go to "Set Priority" and go to "Low".

thanks. i cannot believe that i did not think of changing the priority in the task manager. that seems to work pretty well. i can at least surf the web without any major lag now. thank you
