DivX --> DVD Player

I have: DivX video files.
I want: To play them on my DVD player.
I don't want: To lose any quality.

Aka, I want to be able to put my DivX movies on a DVD-R, possibly with "chapter" selections (per movie) such that my DVD player will read the files.

I don't want to lose any quality, and if that means 1 DivX per DVD-R, so be it.

Can somepone point me to a tutorial?

nope, mine won't play DivX files. I'm impressed that it plays mp3s for the price I paid!

THere has got to be a way to conver them into mpeg-2(? Right? Is this what DVD players read?)

yup nero. but remember divx has already been through the compression process once. each transcode loses quality. divx esp loses quality since people tend to drop resolution to make it fit 1-2cds. you will never get that back, so you resulting dvd will be quite soft and lack detail unless u had a huge full resolution divx.(unlikely).looks about clean vhs quality maybe. u aren't going to get animorphic squeeze back so u'lll also suffer normal letter boxing resolution loss for a final kick in the head.

Personally, I use the following:

DIKO - Converts DivX/Xvid to MP2 files
DVDLab - Author my own custom DVD with menus, etc...

Both are really easy to use and pretty fast.
