divx codec wont install in win2k

Just as i said above, I clicked on it to install, but i dont think its is, whn i check for it in the device manager, i cant find it?? Has anyone else had this prob?

You must be doing something wrong. Did you go into control panel-sound&multimedia to check and see if it's there?
