divx avi audio video sync problems

i have a leadtek tuner that i saved a program with using avi divx 5.03 to write the file directly.

when i play it back, audio and video are not synced. is there a divx setting that i should change to have em synced in the future?

 
Has this happened on more than one occasion? It may be a one time occurence. It does happen sometimes. What are yur system specs?
 

yes, happens each time, and the audio gets more and more out of sync a sthe 30 mins goes by.

it's a p4 533 so system is up for it.

i have now just set the audio codec to mp3 to see if that helps. it was set to 'none' for audio.

anybody use this same setup:

Leadtek 2000xp, using divx 5.05 as codec, and mp3 as audio codec?
