Based on the responses here, I'm looking a little old fashioned and not up to times as I don't think much of the performance is proper by any means.

Meh. its pretty bad.

Id be pretty unhappy if it was my kid up there.

I'm no pedo so not provocative to me

I'm judging them by how they dance and not how they look, and they dance very well. guess they'll be pretty amazing by the time they hit high school.

Wow people have to sexualise everything huh? There's nothing wrong with this video - if you see little girls dancing and you immediately think about fucking them, you're the one with the problem, not everyone else.

Stop being such a bunch of over-conservative prudes. Oh, wait, this forums is overwhelmingly American right? Guess that won't happen.

Those kids are very talented dancers, but holy crap is that inappropriate. There's just something very creepy about little kids doing suggestive things and acting the way the girls in the routine do. They don't understand what exactly they are doing (they think they are just dancing), but teachers and parents should understand that what they are doing is grossly inappropriate for their age and that video is essentially a pedobear honeypot.

I didn't really see anything provocative about the dance, I thought it was pretty impressive for these kids, though. I could understand finding their dress a bit much for their age (and I tend to think it's a bit inappropriate as well), but whatever.

Mmmmmmmm, pedobear honeypot.

If I'm not mistaken, back in the late 50's/early 60's, dance moves like "The Twist" were considered provocative and looked down upon by many people.

If you saw a 7 year old dance squad doing The Twist today, would you have a problem with it or would you think it was entertaining/addorable/acceptable/whatever?

I don't think anyone here thought about fucking them. But when they shimmy their chests, wear lingerie outfits and hump the air.... well, we didn't sexualize it, they did.

That said, they are very talented. I just think their talents could be put into something more tasteful. Now when they are 17 and want to do this dance, that's fine. But at 8 years old, I think the routine is to mature for them.

I don't understand what you guys are missing. The song is about sex and the outfits are basically lingerie. I would get that dance instructor fired if my kid was in that production.

The dancing is questionable, but HOLY CRAP are those outfits wrong. 7-year-olds wearing lingerie is not right, and the adults involved with that production should be ashamed.

Errr the costumers were definitely pedobear-worthy, but they're surprisingly good dancers.

There were only one or two moves that raised my eyebrows.

I can't believe that anyone's parents would allow this to happen. (maybe I'm old-fashioned and conservative)

I found this while looking into the "How to Spot a Masturbator" thread.

Racist. All White and Asian girls. Where's Beyonce's role?

Oh right, yea it's little distasteful. But Single Ladies is pretty pro-women song. Despite the dress and dance routine, I don't think it's really horrible. Very uh, forgiving parents but ...
