Why would someone build a bathroom like this? There is constantly toilet paper stuffed into this gap -- I know that the gap has ruined many peoples' lives.

Thankfully, my boss warned me about this. If any of you ATOTers design or build bathroom partitions, please ... please realize that there are gaps between the walls and the panels.

Anyway, why are there gaps?

Clerarly you need to spend some time with a construction crew. they don't give a sh!t what you think, in fact they're highly amused by some offic-workers discomfort.

Those gaps at the wall are for cleaning access and air circulation. Us blue collar guys fold nudie magazines in-half and store them in those gaps. :D

I did a bathroom is a supermarket once where the blueprint revisions were so totaly confused one of the three urinals was in the ladies room!
When the job finished it was still there and the lawyers were just getting started.

North Americans just don't understand gap control.

The ones I used in Zurich had no gaps all around. Felt like I was in my own little room.
