Personally, I think they are one of the most awesome bands around today. Agree? Disagree?

I used to like them until all of their songs started sounding the same...although the same can be said for many different bands I like.

Really? I never noticed that with them. For example, I don't see any similarity between Down with the Sickness and Prayer, both which have been really big hits. Not disagreeing with you, I just never noticed it.

aren't they releasing a new CD soon?
Why would they release another album so soon? Believe came out late 2002.

Good band. I found the songs on Believe more melodic and pleasent to listen to (if you could say such a thing with harder rock), compared to The Sickness.

Like their first album, lost interest when I heard the second one. I'm slowly sliding back in my the 80's metal shtick. I mean come on.. who can top 80's Metal??*

*Not in comparison is Seputura, Soul Fly, Fear Factory, Brujeria :p

I liked their first album, I don't think they're in any way an amazing band, but I enjoyed listening to the CD. I didn't like their second album all that much tho, was a bit of a dissappointment to me. I liked basically every track on first was very enjoyable.. and I got to see 'em at Croc Rock in Allentown so it was pretty cool. Not my favorite band by any means, but not a bad band either. :)

Just out of curiosity, who do you actually think of as 80's metal? Because the only bands that I really classify as 80's metal are Megadeth and Metallica. But I'm weird. :)

<edit>I take that back, I guess I mean the only bands I classify as 80's HEAVY metal</edit>

If Sepultura and Fear Factory don't qualify as heavy then maybe you just have a different definition then most. Oh yeah, Anthrax was left off that list;)

 The 80's was a much simpler times man. There was not "industrial" or rap-rock.... just full on MEEEEEEETAL :| :D Maiden, Slayer, Anthrax, Ozzy, Manowar.. hmm... rock out music *

*Hair bands excluded :p

They are releasing a new cd soon. Actually like Feb 22 or so. The cd is a recording cd/dvd of a live performance

They are great, Believe, as an album was great-
