I think the project of cracking the password for the back door just sounds bad. The problem I see is that alot of people are comparing it to the wrong things. First this will not change your hardware to get you anything for free (comparing it to a black box or descrambler), 2nd it will not get you free service (comparing it to stealing a password to get software registered so you don't have to pay). What it is most like is finding the cheat code or easter egg for your favorite video game. Something that programers put in the software that wasn't supposed to be found or used by the general public. I think this is just a modern way of a bunch of people, rather than spending 1000 hrs trying to find the magic dot in Atari's Adventure cart, they use a computer to figure it out for them so they dont duplicate their efforts. I think this is as bad as using a game shark to have unlimited lifes on Super Mario Brothers, Doesn't break your hardware or the game, still had to pay for both but you get more enjoyment from it.

Plus you get all your friends mad because you can do more than them!😀
