Just curious as to what people are using to contribute to the various DC projects here at AnandTech. Pictures would be great! I am crunching for F@H and this is my AXP 3200.

EDIT: Just pics of the computers (I guess I was curious on where they are in your house, not what is in them😀) better example

We'll I currently have:

AMD fleet
-Dual Athlon MP1800+/1Gb
-2x XP2200+/256Mb

INTEL fleet
-P4 HT 3,4Ghz/1Gb
-P4 2,533Ghz/512Mb
-2x IBM TP T41p. P-M 1.7Ghz/1Gb
-IBM TP R40. P4 2.2Ghz/512Mb
-P3 1Ghz/384Mb
-P3 750Mhz/256Mb
-IBM Netfinity server dual P3-450Mhz/256Mb

All are running various tasks. I've had the thinkpads and the dual athlon running seti. Other rigs been on climate prediction or folding.

My SETI fleet has been totally decimated....

Used to have
AMD
2100+@2700+ 512mb
1800+ 512mb
1800+ 512mb
450 K6-2 64mb

Intel
1.5 pent4 256mb
700 pent3 128mb
400 celeron 64mb
333 celeron 64mb

Now:
AMD
2500+ 512mb

:brokenheart:

Computers are all given away for the less fortunate or systems have changed hands/purposes.... sorry SETI 🙁

Current Project: FaD

Computers:

Athlon 64 3000+ @2.4
Athlon XP 2400+
Athlon XP 2200+
Athlon XP 2000+
Duron 1.3GHz

Pentium 4 3.2GHz Prescott
Pentium 4 2.4GHz Northwood
2x Pentium 4 2.8GHz Northwood
Pentium 4 2.8GHz Prescott
3x Pentium 4 1.6GHz Willamette
Pentium 4 1.7GHz Willamette
Pentium 4M 1.8GHz Northwood
Celeron 2.0GHz
Celeron D 2.66GHz
2x Celeron 2.2GHz
Celeron 1.8GHz
Celeron mobile 2.0GHz

Not all are on 24 hours a day. But I am heavily addicted, and need to add more (need to have an excuse to get more first). Good thing is that all have a real purpose other than just DC. So the electricity is not unjustifiable.

So this is what I bring to the crunch...

AMD XP 2600
Cel 1.3
Cel 1.7 x9
P4 1.2 HT x2
P4 1.4
P4 1.8 x4
P4 2.4 x5
P4 2.6 x9
P4 2.6 HT
P4 2.8 x30
P4 2.8 HT x5
Xeon Dual 2.8
P4 3 HT x20 with 3 more on the way!

About +-65 percent of them are on 24h, but it varies from time to time. They all used to do SETI before I devided them between the projects in my sig. They're all back on SETI now, but they'll be devided again when SETI ends. 😀

24/7 crunchers:

1 - p2 333 (seti)
1 - xp 1800+ (seti)
1 - xp 2000+ (seti)
1 - amd 64 3200 (seti)
1 - p4 2.6 HT (seti)
2 - p4 3.0 HT (seti)
2 - dual xeon 3.2 HT (seti)
1 - p3 500 (dpad)

all but 1 are dedicated to the seti guantlet right now but most of them run FaD, dpad and/or reisel sieve. after the gauntlet im probably going to start back up with TAS so a few of them will be roaming for the current TAS project

AMD fleet(all doing F@H):

XP2800+
XP2200+
XP2100+
XP1800+ *2
XP1700+ * 5
XP1600+ (temp down)
XP1400+
Duron 1200 * 2

Intel:
Pentium 1200M (lappy)

All on 24/7

XP2600+ Barton (hopefully can OC to at least 3000+ on the way)

I haven't been around in a while.

I'm still doing S@H.

Fleet is:
Athlon XP 1500+
Athlon XP 1700+
Intel Celeron 2.0
Intel P3-866

Been crunching for around 4 years now.

SETI Classic

(1) Intel P4 1.3Ghz
(3) Intel PIII 933
(2) AMD 1Ghz Tbirds (one is soon to be upgraded to an XP1600)
(1) Dual Intel PII400
(1) Dual Intel PII450

I've been working on UD for over 3 years.

P2 450
P3 800
P3 1000
AXP 1600+
Pentium M 1.7 (laptop)
A64 3500+ (x2)

Occasionally I have a AXP 3000+ report a result but it's rare.

Used to have about 50 P3's and P4's for about 200 WU's per day in SETI classic. Got laid off the old job and now have...

AMD 64 3200+ @ 3500
P4-2.4C
P4-2.4B

They're good for about 33 WU's per day in SETI classic.

Being a member of the Rebel Alliance and A TA Sentinel member (we are currently running Find-a-Drug) I have 3 Computers running.

Intel

3.2 Prescott @ 3520, P4P800E Deluxe mobo by ASUS 512 corsair xms ram (2x256 for dual channel mode), 2 raptors in raid 0, cdrw, dvd, ttgi 520 watt psu, Audigy 2 ZS sound card, x530 logitech 5.1 speakers, 9700 pro (being rma'd using a ti4200 in its place)
21" monitior.

3.0 Prescott @ 3210, PT800CE-A mobo, 512 1 stick (pc3200 ram 1 stick, not dual channel)
single 40 gig wd400jb, pci video card, no sound card installed.19" monitor, cheapo speakers.

2.8b Northwood No HT @ 2900, EPOX 4G4A+ mobo, 2x256 corsair xms pc3000 ram, sblive sound, TI4200 video card, 80gig hdd Maxtor. 19" monitor. Labtec Pulse 454 speakers.

no pics as 2 out of three are under the desks lol and my camera needs better lighting.

Mike

OK then

all mine are in the bedrooms and the 3.0 is the only dedicated cruncher at least for now (all computers crunch 24/7 but the 3.0 only crunches)

WOW:shocked: I am very impressed🙂 I just want to clarify, you dont have to take pictures of case internals, I was just curious on how people with multiple computers place them in their homes (for exaple on a bench in the basement)😀 better example

Most crunching is done at work. My two crunchers aren't anything special (to say the least)

1) P4 2.4Ghz, 768MB RAM, WinXP Pro.

2) Celeron 1.7Ghz, 128MB RAM, W2K Pro.

Like I said, nothing special.

I do use my main home PC for limited crunching. It's an A64 3000+ (Newcastle), with a gig of RAM, running WinXP Pro. The reason I don't do a lot of crunching on this one is that the wife and kids are on and off it quite a bit. Plus, it does run a bit warm, and being my first "home build", I tend to baby it a bit.

Right now:

P4 2,8 HT - TAS

P4 2,8 (no HT) (x2) - F@H

Celeron 2,8 - F@H

Addition in May whenb I get back home:

XP3200+
XP 200+
PIII 600

Running SB on:

A 3.06 Ghz Mobile P4 Laptop

A few hours a day

Hoping to get my familys P4 2.0B running SB about 4 hours a day soon.

EDIT: The P4B is running! Pretty slow (compared to my lappy) at 1.3M cEM/s per sec, but it will contribute enough for me.

My fleet are all running the Einstein@Home project:

AMATERASU AMD XP 2000+
ANUBIS AMD XP 2500+
APOPHIS AMD XP 2000+
BAAL AMD XP 2000+
CAMULUS Intel P4 1.80GHz
CRONOS AMD XP 2000+
HATHOR AMD Duron 1800
HERUUR Intel Dual P3-1000MHz
MARDUK AMD Athlon 1300
NIRRTI AMD Duron 1300
OSIRIS AMD Sempron 2200+
RA Intel Quad P3-550MHz
SOKAR AMD Athlon 1400
TANITH Intel P4 1.60GHz
YU Intel Dual P3-800MHz
---
SCAPEGOAT Intel P4 2.66GHz

Yes, my home rigs are all named after Goa'ulds from "Stargate: SG-1" 😀

The last rig is my workstation at work. 😛

My computers aren't named nearly as cool as Networkman's, but here's my list that are all running SETI classic right now:

(listed in order of when they were brought online)

Athlon TBird 1.4Ghz (24/7) (home PC)
Althlon XP 2000+ (24/7) (home PC)
P3 933 (24/7) (office server)
Athlon 1.0Ghz (24/7)
Athlon XP 2200+ (~8 hours per day)
P4 2.8Ghz (~8 hours per day)
P4 3.2Ghz (24/7)
P4 3.2Ghz (~8 hours per day)
P4 3.0Ghz HT (24/7)
P4 3.0Ghz HT (~8 hours per day)
P4 3.0Ghz HT (~2-4 hours per day)
P4 3.0Ghz HT mobile (~2-3 hours per day)

If only I could get those part-timers to stay on full time I could probably break 100 WU's per day, but alas, they are business (and occasional home users) that don't want to leave them turned on. 😛

Haha. Sounds like Networkman's names comes from Stargate SG-1...
I'm in FaD and crunching with my XP 3000+ system whenever possible. Also got several systems belonging to relatives crunching under my name as well, ranging from a PIII 600 laptop to a P4 2.something GHz desktop. But they're not on as much.

EDIT: Yes, my home rigs are all named after Goa'ulds from "Stargate: SG-1"
D'oh... Just saw that line. *palm face*

Running F@H 24/7:
A64 3000@3200
P4-2.8C
PPro 180@233

I don't feeling like getting out my camera but i have the A64(lappy) and P4 on desks. THe PPro is under the desk that the P4 is on.(no monitor hooked up to it. all it is is a case, mobo, ram, had and PSU. not even any fans)
I'm hoping to get 3 P2.4's from my bud over the summer.

All running SETI Classic

At home, no pics so...
P4 3.0 HT sitting to my left, AMD XP 1800 sitting to my right.
Near the door is a new P4 3.0 HT still in the box(Dell) that i'll get up probably tomorrow or over the weekend.

My parents are running a P4 2.8 for my account at their house.

All my machines run FaD.

XP2600 @ 2.6, on my desk. Sometimes 24/7, sometimes half-days.
XP2400, on the bench. 24/7.
A64-3000 @ 2.3, on the bench, 24/7.
P3-1200, on the kitchen counter, and not in a case 😀 part-timer.

Hmmm ... where to start: All the computers run FaD.

I bet I've missed something somewheres .... but this is a good start.

No real clue how many clients I have active from moment to moment but nearly all of these run 24x7.

This should give ya'all a flavor of my Hordes. I'm guessing that my tag line is accurate.
