JVC and Maxell 6 packs are same, Sony is about 3 bucks more (33 and 36)...any real differences? Should i just get the Sony for 3 measly dollars?
 
The quality of your video is going to be the same, the only difference is the quality of the TAPE. Certian brands last longer than others, or use higher quality lubrications, etc.

It really depends on how important your video is.
