Distance from CO?

I don't know of sites to check your distance. But I can tell you that people with distances upto 19K have stable and fast connections.

I was wundering because rite now we got the pacbell Enhanced Dsl (business one) 384k-1.5mb/128k we are soon goin up to the 1.5mb-6mb/384k
just wanna check out sum stuff before we upgrade...also anyone know any isps that provide good fast connections around $200 that will hold several users? I saw Sprint ION, thats exactly what we need but they are not in our area :(

I still say Speakeasy :) I pay $160/month for my 768kbit SDSL. They'll tell you the distance to the CO and such if you go to www.speakeasy.net (and are in one of the areas Covad covers).

Well, you don't need to go with SDSL, but 768 should be enough for what you'll be doing with it (there's also 1.1 and 1.5 available if that's needed, but 1.1=$200 and 1.5 is higher, and that assumes you're close to the CO). Their NetExpert Basic (1.5/384) Residential package is $79.95/month, for example. -Shrug-

You already have DSL service, though, so you may as well stick with that.

I have 512/256 ADSL and I am 9,500 ft away from my CO and I d/load at a rock solid 56k/sec which is not to bad at all
