Heard about alot of failures from the dell. Thanks though. I cant believe displayport wont run 120hz 3D.
Furthermore, the 3D Vision monitor connected to the DisplayPort requires a DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter if the monitor lacks native DisplayPort compatibility.
So unless I'm reading the wrong page, the GD235hz doesn't even support DisplayPort. It's DL-DVI, VGA, and HDMI. In which case I think you're confusing the HDMI port for a DisplayPort.I have a MSI 680 and three of the acer GD235hz's. They have DP on them but look what nvidia suggest on the site. http://www.nvidia.com/content/3d-vi...ion_Surround_GF_GTX_680_Mar12_rev2-Single.pdf
Can you post a link ? If it's not an active displayport, I think you will have problems, especially with 3DHow about the monoprice one? Anyone tried it? It gets good reviews and is 40 buckaroos less than the others.
Eh, all you need is a simple mechanical adapter for switching between DP and miniDP.The GTX 680 uses a full, not mini displayport. I think this is a mini displayport. BE CAREFULL!
BE Careful of those also. Bought one and it didn't work.Eh, all you need is a simple mechanical adapter for switching between DP and miniDP.
I don't understand how it couldn't work. It's a mechanical adapter; there are no electronics, it just bridges pins together.BE Careful of those also. Bought one and it didn't work.
