Hey folks,
I'm trying to share my Acer XB270HU 1440p 144 Hz GSync display between two PCs. I need max quality / low latency, so a DisplayPort KVM is the only option.
I bought an ATEN CS782DP and while it does work it cannot reliably hold 144 Hz, it frequently falls back to 85 Hz. Per their support:
"First of all, our CS782DP supports DisplayPort 1.2 and does NOT support GSync. With GSync disable, CS782DP can support 1920x1280 @ 144Hz, over that resolution, 144Hz might not be supported."
This smells fishy. GSync just runs on DP 1.2 and AFAIK doesn't require anything special, but I may be wrong. Some research confirmed this understanding, but it was just forum posts and stuff.
Does anyone know of / can vouch for a KVM that's known to work well with a setup like this?
