So, here is an odd one if anyone has seen this

TL/DR - issue running two (2) display port monitors at 1920x1200

User has 2 HP Compaq LA2405X monitors
They are hooked up to brand new HP ProDesk 600 G3 -- Intel HD 630 graphics

But they flicker in that it will stay black and then image will pop up or if it does display anything it will have odd horizontal lines in it on parts of the screen

Now plug this machine into two 1080p monitors and all works fine.

The only thing I can think of is its the monitor itself. But all the specs from the monitor and the pc say is supported. Just wondering if anyone has run into something similar.
Also checking with HP as well but not likely to get an answer

Specs of monitor - https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c03310261
Specs of PC - http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/gethtml.aspx?docname=c05373438
listed under graphics

Steps tried
- New Cables.
- Tried one monitor at a time
- Tried video driver updates
- Tried the generic ms drivers, but does not give dual monitor
- Tried different monitors and those seems to work (HP P240VA), so machine seems to be ok
- Tried a different machine (same model)
- Checked the Specs of both the machine, and the monitors all say that they should work
(resolution 1920x12000)
- Tried lower resolution (1920x1080)

Hi, I realize that the post is almost two years old. If you found a solution, I would appreciate any info! I am having the same problem - HP ProDesk 600 G3, HP Compaq LA2405x monitor, connected via DisplayPort. Same symptoms - flickering, horizontal lines.

I tried updating the BIOS - still having the same problem.

When I connect the monitor using the VGA connector, no problem! But I need to connect two monitors, so the 2nd monitor needs to connect via DisplayPort
