Displayport 1.2 to 1.1 no extended desktop

MSI R9 390 (latest crimson drivers), Dell U2415 (DP 1.2 enabled), Dell U2412M (DP 1.1)
Using the mini DP cable that came with the 2415. Using a standard DP cable between the two.

I can't seem to get anything other than a duplicated desktop, which is of no use to me. I need the extended desktop. What am I misiing?

I don't see any extended/duplicate setting in the Radeon settings. Where would that be? I choose 'Extended' via the WinKey/P shortcut, which has always 'stuck' when using DP>DVI.
 
Also, with a 3rd display attached via DVI (Dell U2410), the DVI is extended from the main display (2415). Radeon only shows 2 monitors (The 2 DP monitors). Clicking Identify shows each monitor numbered 1,2,3.
 
Erm.. sorry, try going to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution and see what it shows you there.

Bingo! For some reason, it wasn't taking the 'Extend' setting there. I set it to Extend and problem solved. Amazing what the right information can do. Thanks very much.
