Displaying game collection

I have an absurdly large PC game 'collection', going back to the birth of PC gaming (80's).

Sometimes, I think it might be nice to make it visible somehow, like scan the packages and put them on the web - or at least a list of the titles.

Does anyone know of a good tool for such a thing? A text file with a list of names seems underwhelming.

Someone on this board has a folder full of the shortcuts for all his games. It looks pretty cool, he keeps it in detail mode or small list icon something like that

You can get Delicious Library if you have a Mac. I have it on my Mac Book Pro and have all my games in it. Its great.

Then you can output that list as any type of file you want, with meta data.

I'd suggest just a few (12-20 pictures) of your collection, overview shots that show the entire collection and give the viewer a good idea of the size of it. It sounds like you are trying to go the route of taking a picture of every game alone, which doesn't seem necessary. A few pictures of the rarer or odder gaming items would be in order bu the rest of the normal stuff wouldn't be necessary. In addition to the 12-20 pictures, the full list of all the games would be good enough.

Thanks for the tips - being lazy, the pics of the collection sounds like a nice start🙂 Doesn't show much for games without boxes though.
