Display problem with Red Hat Installed on Thinkpad 600X

Hello all,

I installed Red Hat Fedora Core 3 on my thinkpad 600X. I have tried playing with the display driver, I have checked IBM's website, I have changed resolution, colour depth and monitor type, but I still can't seem to solve the problem.

I checked IBM's website and it seems that my video card is "NeoMagic MagicMedia256ZX". This is the video card that was found by the Red Hat installation. I have tried a few other Neo Magic drivers to no avail.

All text and graphics seems to be jagged and hard on the eyes. It is almost as though anti-aliasing is turned off. Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks.
