Display not working, PLEASE HELP! ***FIXED***

Ok, today I went through my desktop (not my main PC thank god) and cleaned it out. I took out the video card and cleaned the fan, the HSF, the case fans, etc. Got all of the dust away and then put everything back together. I went to boot the PC and everything seemed fine. All of the fans came on like normal, etc. I looked up at the display and it hadn't come on. The monitor was physically on but the power light was just blinking. So I turned off the computer and rebooted. Same thing. At this point I almost crapped my pants. Both of the best items in my desktop could be screwed up (GeForce 3 Ti200 and a Dell M992, not great by todays standards, but perfect for what I'm doing with this box). So I swapped out the video card for a PCI I have, same deal. The LAN card's lights blink like crazy though, so I don't think it could be the slots have screwed up. Also, I attached my monitor (right now actually) to my laptop and it works fine.

Can anybody give suggestions????

how/with what/ ,etc. ..could just be the cards not being seated/dirty contacts(I use newsprint ...) ...good luck and keep us informed..
 
I just blew the dust out of the fans and HS myself. That's all I did. I've had the problem before with the video card not falling into place correctly. But that was with a Voodoo5 (super big card). I checked and double checked that the card was all the way in place.
 
* Solution *

I emailed Shuttle tech support last night. Today their basic response was to try and start the system with only the basic components. The last part said "if you still get nothing, you most likely have a bad CPU or mainboard". I had never given thought that the CPU was bad. The computer started up everytime, which I didn't think it would if the CPU was bad. Sure enough, I swapped out my 1800+ for my old 1 GHz T-Bird and it booted fine. Once I got into Windows the computer just started rebooting. So I went into BIOS and checked the temps, 90C!!!! I shut it down REALLY quick. I need to get some Artic Silver (I didn't have any to apply when I put in the T-Bird). I feel better now that the system boots and it was just my CPU. Whew!
