I'm having a graphics problem that occurs in windows media center and firefox 4.01- sometimes it's a fuzzy distortion that is most noticeable on text, icons, and buttons; other times most edges and shapes being displayed appear sharp but glitches/artifacting can commonly be seen confined to one area or display object as broken lines or breaks in the continuity of a solid shape; still, other times the graphics problems manifest as a shuttering/wiggling/shaking/watery/wobbling to things being displayed.
On occasion, prompts from programs (most recently, spybot) make the existing problems way worse, while the contents of the prompt window become indecipherable.

here is the url of a public album on my skydrive with some sample screens:

I'm running an asus-branded amd 6950, c2d e8400, 4gb ram, win7x64ult, with two acer monitors connected by dvi

have the latest amd drivers installed for the 6950 via steam

explorer has no problems. I'm now thinking maybe setting the video and 3d settings in AMD CCC, like application preference override, or the AA (edge-enhancement, AA; see anything in the "3d application settings panel . I wonder if this is some sort of overlay problem? I run dual monitors, and use "the maxifier" to allow fullscreen wmc displayand keep use of other displays. Maybe getting a codec pack and setting some application/global rendering defaults may settle it too.

anyone know if wmc (when playing back recorded .wtv files) and ff4.01 share the same gfx rendering? What about overlay, directdraw, directx being common?
