Display driver issues, power safe mode

First had this issue, then swapped out GPU's. Have a 730 GT in this machine, with a Ultrawide Dell 29'' monitor hooked up via DVI DL.

Basically, I get the infamous freeze, black screen, then recover from windows saying my display driver has issues. Then after 2-3 times of this, machine freezes totally, and enters power safe mode, which I cannot get out of, save a restart.

I already went into safe mode and got rid of all the drivers and installed which ever driver I had from 2-3 weeks ago. Still not working. I had the same issue with the latest Nvidia driver, too, which was why I reverted to begin with.
