Display Adapter for Windows NT Server

I'm having a lot of trouble configuring a display adapter on our Windows NT server.

Is there a particular card which the Windows NT server natively supports, i.e., providing a no hassle install?

Is it an AGP card? Don't forget service pack three! I'm using a cheapo MGA Mach64 in mine. No real need to go big.

Well, it had a Trident 9850 AGP, but then I tried a S3 Virge (Venus) PCI because I saw it in the display adapter list and thought it would have the resident drivers.

I think you are right about the Service Packs. I didn't set up the system, and as far as I know no service packs have been applied.

Service Pack #3 deals a lot with display adapter installation?

Thanks for answering!

Service pack 3 addresses many issues as well as AGP functionality. Give it a try. The latest service pack is 6a, which has all of the updates that 3 does plus more. Please read all of the warnings and advisories before installing the update. You can download Windows NT 4.0 service pack from here. Microsoft web site
