Disney digs up cash for miners' story

wonder who would watch it... it would be a total crap sob movie. girlfriends crying, gov't people giving emotional inspirational speeches... some random people being made extra heroic...
 
How boring would that be? It's a story about 9 guys huddling in a mine. There was nowhere to go, it was for the most part dark so there was nothing to see, and it dragged on like this for 3 days.
 
Does anyone else here think each guy is going to blow is $150k on beer, chaw, women and cars and wind up mining coal again 5 years from now?

Just a thought.

That movie is gonna either really butcher the real life events (given anyway to an extent), or completely suck. I guess both.
 
knowing disney they will have lots of songs and dancing animals. probably a gopher or such.

Somehow I think Titanic will be a good parallel to this movie. Heck, people knew how it would end, knew that it was padded, and they still watched.😱
