So? Life's full of choices. I respect yours. I don't use Diskeeper either - but not for that reason.

I will never buy Diskeeper but it's for a totally different reason.

Go to console and type "defrag". Created by Executive Software, the company that makes Diskeeper? That's right, every Windows computer on the planet already has diskeeper installed on it, and I'm supposed to buy it a second time because of..... why exactly?

XP lets you schedule defrag on a regular basis, and Vista schedules itself by default. There's literally no reason for anyone to buy Diskeeper. If you have too much money, send me a PM and I'll give my address so you can write me a cheque.

Scientology, what did they do? Be different? Yes Diskeeper is the parent of XP defrag. There is also Diskeeper 2000 Free that works on XP.

They're the Creative of religion. If you say it's a scam, they'll sue you. If you something something, they'll sue you. Any little thing and they'll sue you. Some people mock fundamentalist Christians, and they might get flack for it, but I don't see Christians suing your ass to the ground and trying their best to destroy your life, and the life of everyone around you.
It's like the Nazi party but instead of SS guards that take you away in the night, they have high priced lawyers that sue you in the night.

Conclusion: I wouldn't use Diskeeper on principle alone.

This is so old....but in this case i just look at what the software offers.

Scientology's a little farther out there than most religions but IMO they're all pretty bad but if I chose not to run software written by a company/person with some relgious influence I'd have a pretty empty hard disk.
