Disk Unrecognized...

i did some space merging using partition magic after deleting linux partition.
that went ok until my computer crashed after rebooting for the first time.
BSOD appears and says /root/system32/drives/cdr4_2k.sys is corrupted.

now, my computer cannot reboot.

i took the hardrive and connect it to my friends computer,.. it only detects my drive only with 46 Meg as opposed to 13 gig.
any suggestion?

Sounds like your MBR is corrupted. If you have Norton Utilities and have the Rescue disks then, if you have updated the rescue disks recently, you can boot up to the Emergency disk and have it repair your MBR. Takes about a second to do that. I don't know if you have the other partition info saved on your Rescue disks how that will affect your old linux partition.
