Anybody know a place i can get a 360 disc fixed?.My xbox plays it fine once it actually recognizes it , but it has very minor scratches. I have to literally clean the disk 4-5 times before the drive recognizes it.

This is the only game that does that as well. The game is COD4 if it even matters.

Damn 360 is so finicky, but i just can't help but love it.

A lot of the local CD stores around me do this for a buck or two. Not sure if the giant ones do (best buy and the like).

I have a rock band disc that got scratched beyond playability (xbox on vertically -> xbox still on, now horizontal)
Brasso my dear friend, brasso worked wonders.

Either buy one of those cleaning machines, take it to a local gamecrazy/gamestop, or put some toothpaste NOT gel on a little cotton swab or something and rub those scratches out. Trust me, toothpaste works.

I have a Gamecrazy about 5 minutes from my place that does it for free. The disc surface literally looked like new after they were done with it (took about 7 minutes).

Do NOT buy those skipDR machines. Got one for Xmas and it made almost every disc we put in it worse.
