I need this ASAP and I need it to make room for my linux install. Free only please and must be stable and not horrible one. Thank you very much.

Most modern linux installers can take space away from your Windows partitions. Only gotcha I've found is you generally want to defragment the drive first from within Windows. It can only take space from the end until it sees bits of used data. If you still want a partitioner, search for System Rescue CD, and use GNU Parted that it provides.

GParted, Qparted, etc. They come on most linux live CD's and are free, and graphical.

Thanks guys. I'm going Ubuntu 5.10 :) Anything else to suggest after installing?

Automatix. After installing Kubuntu Dapper, I'm going to Kubuntu 5.10 to install this (and then upgrade to dapper) even though I know how to install all that stuff without a script. Its just seems much easier to do everything.
