No Intel chipsets have Asmedia sata connectors integrated in them. Some motherboard makers add third party sata ports, but that goes for all chipsets, P67, Z77, Z87, etc.
That depends on the RAID implementation. The "fact" is called "array metadata". Location and format does differ from vendor to vendor and even between versions from same vendor.Where does a hard drive store the fact that it's part of raid?
