Disk defragmenter can't defrag all the way...

I have ran multiple defrag sessions and also have scheduled a boot time defrag but with the boot time defrag, it just wont complete it due to contiguous space. The problem is, I have well over the space there... It just would not show.

See for yourself

I am going to see about defragging the secondary hard drive and try to move more big files over and uninstall items like what I had done before to gain the free space on C: but there is not any big item files that I can possibly move anymore and all unnecessary programs have been removed.

Downloaded the utility but it doesnt solve anything or doesn't do much. It breezed through the defragmentation process but pretty much my diagnostics under diskkeeper still shows it is heavily fragmented and does not show the free space I should have avaiable on the drive map.

Also, remember with NTFS you lose some space to its overhead - particularly the MFT Reserved Zone.

WTF? Never seen anthing like it. How big is the "C" drive supposed to be?
I don't use DK anymore, but from what I remember, it wouldn't defrag any drive with less than 20% free space?

The total size of the drive is 20GB and I have 5.34GB of free space.

I have disabled the pagefile and have performed several defrags. It seems to be working but it still does not explain to me why I do not see the free space I should be seeing on the hard drive... And now I can't even get into the options for setting a boot time defrag within Diskeeper.

This is a screenshot while I was performing a defrag with Diskeeper just several minutes ago to this post

Then after, I ran Auslogics Disk Defragmenter. Here is the nice step 1 screen.

Drive map of the beginning...

Almost done....?

Finished already?

And here is what Diskeeper has to say about the collaborative effort

I am at a loss of what is going on here... Normally Diskeeper works fine and this problem doesn't show up.

Oh and in case if anyone asks, this is what the other drive shows. This was taken right after degraghelp7.jpg.

Ok I seem to have solve the problem.... Even with CCleaner, I had to manually go in and remove old and temporary files that were in the Documents and Settings folder that were not used at all.

According to the report that was generated from Auslogics Disk Defragmenter, most of the things it can't defragment were in the temp folder of the various user folders (that are not used anymore) in the Documents and Settings folder. Removing some of them maually freed about half of my drive.

In the process of using Diskeeper right after the clearing of the temps...

After that was done, I finally see space.

Auslogics done after that

Analyzed with Diskeeper again.

I may just have stumbled upon a really really messy computer and like a garbaged filled roommate's room, some junk has to go as well as being moved out to clean it. Free space to move things around I suppose.

But I still can't re-enable boot time defragmentation with Diskeeper. It is through that that I perform a defrag without windows in the way and it really organizes the folders and system files into one block of area as well as the paging file.

Perhaps if I reenable the paging file will it allow me to do a boot defrag?

and why were spots on the disk info blacked out?

ccleaner, you have to run the cleaner and registry option multiple times till they both get no errors.
