Hi, I finally have received all the parts I have mentioned in a past thread, and put together my computer.
Here's what I'm working with...
Antec 1200
Antec CP-850W PSU
2 x GTX 275
Gigabyte EX58-UD4P Mobo
Intel i7 920
G.Skill 2 x 3gb Ram
LG IDE dvd-rw/cd-rw drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200
Xigmatek Dark Knight.

I'm trying to run Microsoft 7 and I've got it burned to a DVD (Which works fine...loads fine on my laptop). Anyway, the new build I put together posts...and then goes to this black screen which lists PCI devices, and then it says DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER. Now, I've tried loading default BIOS settings, tried clearing the CMOS. I moved the SATA cable from the HD to different ports (Right now it's at 1), and i've checked the IDE cable of the dvd rom drive many times. The DVD rom drive is on MASTER aswell...I really can't figure this out and I'm aching to play some games! Help!

I had issues when I first tried to load Windows 7. I ended up re-burning it running at a very low speed. It seemed as if the laptop couldn't fine a specified file even though it was on the disk. (obviously this is different then your issue. Do you have an XP disc or any other system disc you could try to boot off of and see if that works?

Everything in the computer is brand new. Is the spinning in the HDD a very light feeling vibration? Also, no, I do not have access to an XP disc or Vista.

Yes it's a light vibration. Can you try re burning that windows 7 image on a lower speed?

Yeah, I believe the HDD is working as I can feel it getting a lil' warmer and from the vibration. Ok, I'll try burning it again at a lower speed.Maybe it is the DVD I burnt because the Gigabyte Xpress2 Recovery boots up instantly....although I can't do anything in the program as it says "No IDE drive exists or Partition"...something like that..
