Absolutely. It was my favorite game of 2012.

I'd go ahead and get the GOTY edition, as 2 of the DLC (Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches) are worth it and continue the story.

Very good game. I agree with getting GOTY, Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches are good DLCs. And whil Dunwall City Trials is considered to be very poor (as it's just time trials, various challenges, etc.) it still can be entertaining for a bit.

Agree about the game, but have to disagree about the DLC. F that business model. They cost more than the base game itself. I wen't with the vanilla game for $4.99! Same as Tomb Raider and the Assassin's Creed games...

Great game. Initially I thought it would be a cheap rip-off of Thief, but was delighted to have been proven wrong. Well worth playing.

its one of those few games which is WAY better on a controller and pretty bad on kb/m.

if you got a controller and enjoy couch gaming, its a very good game.

Fantastic game, when played as a stealth build (which I'd recommend), it will appeal to all the sneaky/stealth players. I actually love how this game reminded me of Thief and I think it did a far better job of bringing back that old game play feel than the Thief reboot did.

I'd still recommend this game even at full price, much less a sale, for those of you who prefer action over sneaking you can make action builds that can do some insane moves in combat and the maps are really designed to allow for both good action and sneaking or a mix of the 2 as you see fit.

Same here. I made myself put a bit more than that into it but never got to the point of thinking it was ever fun. Maybe I should try playing it with a controller once I get my Steam box built.

Note: It was hard for me to get into. Controls were weird, etc.

I had started it and gave up after an hour. I had bought it on Steam a while back.

One weekend I decided to try it again. Spent all day playing it and really enjoyed it. It's a great game once you get into the meat of it.

This. Except about 2 hrs worth. Funny because this is the type of game I love. But I'm playing it on the 360. Maybe it's the graphics that are turning me off compared to PC. When I want to give something a shot, I buy it on console just so I can flip it if I don't like it.

you know I didn't have luck getting into this one either.

But I didn't get far at all. Something turned me off, I really can't put my finger on it. I am really picky these days.

As far as ya or na well, I still think being objective I would give it a ya. But it seems most people love it but then there is a sizeable handful like me that for whatever reason do not like it. Chances are you will enjoy it.

For me it felt too much like it was trying to copy other games' features and combine them without a clear identity of its own. Looked (to me) like it wants to copy Bioshock Inf's graphical style, and wants to be Deus hr/Thief-like with its stealth mechanics.
