If you think so, Corn, fine by me, but I don't agree. I think the intention was to tar the European French, whereas it is just as likely to have been done by Arab French people. Doesn't make it right, just broadens the possibilities of guilt.
 
just make sure France gets the money for fixing it, they already lost 4 billion when their efforts to keep saddam in power failed....

Actually I don't think so. The descent of the complainer most likely has little to do with the dissenter's opinion. I happen to live in an area with the highest population of Arabs outside of the middle east. Nary is a word of support for Saddam uttered by the Arab population here. Perhaps because they are Americans?

Yes, perhaps. As well as the contrary in France--perhaps they feel the way they do because they are French.........

Tempers are running high at the moment. I don't think there is much logic in blaming "the" French for the actions of "a few" French - but it seems to be the norm at present.
