Can we change the name/code of the disgust smiley? Whenever you use it, it always picks up the :D smiley before it reads in the rest of the smiley code.

Example: :Disgust;

Or we could change the "Big Grin" smiley to specifically be " :-D "

You have to admit though, it's funny to see people posting it everywhere and conveying an emotion opposite of what they really want. :D

I always been kind of miffed about how FuseTalk's "rolleyes" emoticon looks distinctly annoyed...almost disgusted, actually. In most all of the other forum software I've seen, the rolleyes emoticon usually looks vaguely amused. Like this guy.

Does the one you linked actually animate for you? It does it once for me, i like that the one here actually loops.

Also, as for myself, when i roll my eyes at someone, i'm not doing it because i'm amused, i'm doing it because i'm annoyed...so it kinda fits for me. Maybe that's just me though. :)

This is a super easy fix. If they gave me the keys I could even do it.

C'mon... can a Super Mod take the time to fix that smiley?

: Disgust ; = :disgust:

:confused:

So :disgust: is the same as :roll: except it doesnt move? :thumbsdown:
yes, that's always been the case with these new smilies.

This is weird and doesn't make sense. I noticed it this morning. It would be better to have :-D for it.

Select them from the drop-down box when you click Reply or Quote, then learn the shorthand for them.

Man I'm never gonna get use to that! ,I've been doing the grin aka :D manually for over 8yrs now (habit leftover from when their was no drop down menu) ,& now they change it?:p
I think it would of made more sense to change the disgust smilie ,oh well at least its working now.

I also like :D better and have used that for many years on all the forums I've been to, but :-D is still preferable to :D;. :D; looks like either a bearded or drooling guy. :p

I think the problem with the disgust smiley and the big grin is it wasn't checking the case of the D. Capital D was big grin, small d would get you the disgust. Ever since the update it has ignored the letter case.

I thought :D was borked now, until I checked in here, :D; is just goofy.
