I know what your saying. I have a HP Pavilion MX70 17'' CRT, and I love it! I only paid $80 after MIR at BestBuy. At first, I didn't like having the HP logo with my custom PC, but when people ask what model HP I have, (because its so fast ;)) I just point to my case and tell 'em its custom built.

I chose to get another type of LCD rather than get one with the dell logo on it. I can't have people thinking my computer is a dell, and if someone sees that on your monitor, they'll assume your computer is a dell. Unacceptable.

You can call me rude if you want but I think you're retarded for caring what brand of computer other people *might* think you have. So what if they think you have a Dell computer, you know you don't and that's all that should really matter. You're like the people who buy car stereos "so they can be heard coming from blocks away" You shouldn't buy a stereo for other people to hear, buy it for you, nobody cares if you can be heard a few blocks away.
