After a few bad experiences buying computer parts online, I believe we need to have a forum for discussing unreliable companies. I am curious as to whether this would be considered appropriate for the AnandTech Merchandising and Shopping forum. Often it's too hard to hold these companies accountable.

I appreciate your thoughts,

Thanks

At one time AnandTech implemented a Reseller Ratings system on the main page, but I don't know what came of that endeavor.

Just on the wildly unlikely chance you've never ran across it, here's the site:
http://www.resellerratings.com/
and I agree that it's too hard to hold these companies accountable for bad service.

For instance, you'll find if you complain at all about something even remotely related to newegg in a product review on Newegg your review never gets posted. I complained a bit about the stupid rebates on one of my otherwise glowing reviews of a product and it didn't get posted.

I find some reviews on Pricegrabber.com that are sometimes helpful.

Nah...I don't think we need that. Other sites on the web (like the one the guy above me linked) cover this pretty well.
