It seems that something wrong with pics....

And for some reasons,I am sorry to clean all data.

Reckless operation on your processors and motherboards may lead to a unwanted result.

I am regretted about it.

Thanks for your attention.

May someone help me close this thread?

We have done this in:
i7 8700K+ASRock Z170 Pro4S(Using Z370 Pro4's BIOS)
Now THAT's interesting. I've got some Z170 Pro4S ATX boards, with G4560 CPUs in them. If I could drop in an i5-8400 into them, I would. All you have to do, is flash the Z370 Pro4 BIOS somehow? No pin/socket CPU mods? Sounds too easy... 😛

Think about it, a BIOS screenshot does not a stable and properly working system make. For example, last time I read about the mod it came with the implicit compromise of losing the iGPU functionality.

That's why all i3 8100+H110/B150 suits sold is using ASRock Motherboards, not Asus,Gigabyte or MSI.
Only ASRock's BIOS which is newly released will be able to enable iGPU and first slot of PCI-E.

TBH I think we'll see someone start modifying Z170/Z270 BIOSes to work with Coffee Lake, I'm sure it'll happen just to stick the finger to Intel and it wouldn't surprise me to see AMD help just to stick the finger to them. IIRC Asus said they could've gotten Z170/Z270 to work but Intel wanted new chipset money.

WTB: A z370 motherboard with DDR3 slots. 😀

I wonder if coffeelake still has the DDR3 controller from Sky/kabylake sitting their like a vestigial limb.

Interesting. May help someone upgrade to a CFL chip if they have an older 1151 mobo and are willing to figure this out.
