Discrimination Against Men -- Prosecutors not charging woman for false accusation of rape

In more evidence of society's discrimination against men, New York prosecutors have decided not to criminally prosecute the woman who falsely accused four men of rape. So, does this mean that women should now feel free to accuse men of rape at will? What kind of a disservice do these false accusations do to actual rape victims? What do we say to the real victims--the men who were falsely accused and lived in terror of wrongful imprisonment?

I hope they sue her for all of her assets, if any, and go after future earnings.

No Charges in Hofstra University rape hoax

Stupid. Kathleen Rice is a mediocre DA at best.

Edit:
Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice says Hofstra University freshman Danmel Ndonye must undergo mental health treatment and perform community service in exchange for not being prosecuted. Rice described the 18-year-old as "deeply troubled."

Do note, the girl is not getting off completely scott free

How is advocating criminal prosecution and jail time for a woman who committed a very serious crime and damaged other people's lives while reducing the overall credibility of actual rape victims hatred of women? I don't get it. Please explain it to us.

I highlighted your extreme malicious intent..

Nothing wrong with prosecuting her under the rules of the law.

BTW.. how would you feel if you found out a month or so from now that they threatened her and told her they will kill her parents if she doesn't recant the story?

You need to read the link in the OP. There's video of the event that shows she was a very willing participant.

Well the victim of the hoax could file for a court hearing and a judge could force the DA to press proper charges.

I also believe claiming rape in a malicious fashion should be considered a serious crime.

Or simpler yet... before a DA will give the rape victim's claim any validity wrt to moving forward with charges, the victim has to pass a lie detection examination.... if they are telling the truth they have nothing to hide or fear.

The victim of the hoax can sue the hoaxer, but a judge will never force a DA to press charges. That's not what judges do. Even if he did, the DA will just say there's not enough evidence to prosecute.

Filing false charges is a serious crime. It's hard to prosecute, but it has been done.

Lie detection tests aren't admissible in court because the science is inexact and they can and are defeated.

Bottom line seems to be, be careful whom you associate with. Girls that are willing to be gangbanged are not stable and are dangerous to be around. Guys that gangbang girls are not stable and are dangerous to be around.

WTF are you talking about... the OP ONLY creates threads that hammer females... as though he hates them.. lol.. I stand by my first post in this thread... I asked how much more punishment he could dole out to one who recanted her story after they were in prison.. look again at how much punishment he wants for the false accuser... I wish he would call for that much punishment for Colin Powell.. If this were my country.. colin powell would have already been beheaded for his lies

He probably hates the protected status women seem to have because they have 'ginas. I love women, but I hate it too. The fact is women control sex, that alone puts them in charge any time they want to be.

WTF does this have to do with this case? just because you spoke before you had even tried to get the facts just made you look silly.

The women LIED to police (there is proof of that). The victims were arrested and EVERYONE was told they were rapist. they sat in jail OVER A WOMENS FALSE CLAIM (again since you don't get it...there is a video of it).

she should be charged for it. The victims should be able to sue her for it (not that they will get much).

well, if they were just playing a prank, they shouldn't be charged with anything... right?

Agreed. Being falsely labeled a rapist, even if the charges are dropped, will definitely hurt one's reputation to say the least.

If anything, making it more difficult for women to report a rape is not the right way to fix the problem. We already have enough victims who do not come forward. You shouldn't punish the majority because of the few.

The problem here is society, we automatically assume guilt until innocence is proven, unlike our judicial system. If someone is found to be lying, they should be punished. The courts exist to protect both the falsely accused and victims.

Malicious intent?

How is wanting to take all of her money and anything she owns "malicious" compared to her trying to get them jailed for years and the essential destruction of their lives? When someone wrongs you, civil litigation is your only real legal remedy and they should pursue it. Their photographs and names have been smeared all over the newspapers and the Internet. Perhaps they were even arrested and spent some time in jail. Merely having to suffer the duress that must come from facing this type of criminal prosecution seems like justification enough for them to seek out revenge.

BTW.. how would you feel if you found out a month or so from now that they threatened her and told her they will kill her parents if she doesn't recant the story?

Then obviously it needs to be further investigated and they should be prosecuted for the threat.
