The Discovery Channel has been promoting this Expedition Alaska show for some time now and it's currently on.
All the commercials make it look to be a show about the wilderness of Alaska but so far every single segment of the show has focused on climate change/global warming.
Am I alone in feeling that this shit is getting to be a bit old. Can't we just have a show about Alaska like the commercials make it out to be rather than making every part of the show about some climate change angle?
I get it, the environment is important and we need to do our part.
I get it that the temperature has changed in some areas and glaciers are melting.
But isn't it all getting a little tiresome being shoved down our throats?
Everywhere you look, everything is about "going green".
Hell, I did a test drive of the '09 Subaru Forester today and all you see everywhere is how "green" it is, which is great and all but htf have we gotten to this point where that's the number one focus of everything these days?
Maybe I'm alone, maybe it's a weak rant but just because these things are happening doesn't mean every show I watch or good I shop for or store I go to or radio station I listen to needs to constantly remind me of it over and over and over ad nauseum.
