watched the 1st episode and it seems interesting.

I have a few issues with it though. The whole raiding party deal just doesn't make sense. In a real situation, you're going to need to use real, no holds-barred force to defend your shit.

They basically have to let these raiders in, especially when outnumbered like that, unless they can find a way to barricade themselves inside a house and prevent them from getting in.

One thing I'm wondering about is the 3 outsiders that showed up in the beginning. They pretty much shunned them and told them to get lost. Wouldn't you want to build up a community, that way they have more people to scout, gather, work, etc and the safety in numbers thing? I wonder if they would have been nice, the outsiders would have stayed and helped or even brought in the other outsiders to help instead of to raid?

Obviously there is going to be a trust and supplies issue at first, but like i said, once you gain the trust they can help scavenge, hunt/fish, etc.

I never watched the first season, but have been following the new season. Obviously the attacks are going to look silly, but it still was pretty cool. The best part of the show is them improvising and coming up with interesting solutions.

I wonder if everything the cast finds around the 10achre lot was put there for them to find? The fat oil idea was great, but were the pigs left there just for that?

So far that auto mechanic chick seems to be best of the cast so far, not sure about the others, that religious guy is kind of annoying.

Which really wouldn't be that difficult if they had some brains. Like I said, just put all of your valuable supplies upstairs. Its very easy to defend a staircase against larger numbers. Their decision to fight the invaders in open ground in the 1st episode was just plain dumb.

In real life the raiders would have been pissed and not being able to get your stuff. They would have just burned down your house.
