Discover Channel's Flight 93: The Flight That Fought Back...

HEHEHEH zim said cock 😱

Even if they didn't make the cockpit, I'm sure the asshats were at least afraid of the passengers gaining control so they could have grounded it from that fear. Who knows... I sure as hell don't.

I thought that the US gov't said that the passengers on this plane didn't make it to the cockpit? 😕

Flight 93: THe Flight That Fought Back.

93 is the one that hit the ground right? i was pretty sure i heard they made it and tried to take over controls or something like that.

no one knows.

Correct, the flight that crashed in Shanksville PA. As for if they made it or not into the cockpit, that's what I was 😕 about.

PVR Recording it. It looks interesting (Sad that any of this happened, but interesting none the less).

I concur 🙁

Nobody's quite sure WTF happened with that plane. I give it a tossup between shoot-down, passenger rebellion somehow resulting in the plane being driven into the ground, and the pilot failing at the mission of flying. The reason the passenger rebellion story is the accepted one is simple. First, it doesn't make us look defenseless. Second, it's better to commend the actions of a crowd of civilians than it is to commend the actions of a single fighter pilot - both from a PR and public relations standpoint.

This is not to belittle any actions that may or may not have taken place. If they did go for it, nothing but respect. If they didn't, well, they were going to.

ok, also, explain that on the cell-phone to his wife, a guy said that he and a few were going to take over the terrorists. i'd be more inclined to believe that they were at least partially successful than to your first theory of it being "shot down"

 XD

i heard that some lady talked to her husband on that plane and he appearently said "we're going to do something about it"

they are talking about everything right now.

FAA recordsing about scrambling military jets and what not are being talked about now.

EyeMWing, your theory was just shot down.

the Military was not given permission to shoot any plane down until 28 minutes after Flight 93 crashed.

i wonder if the gov will dwclassify info on it many years later like they have done with things from ww2.

I really doubt they shot it down over the middle of nowhere pensylvania...they would at least wait to see if the terrorists really had control if it neared any targets, then shoot.

did they ever decide what the terrorists wanted to hit with it?

Wow, what a documentary. I really felt for those people and was teary eyed for much of the show. What those people went through is truly awe inspiring and for them to find the courage to fight back while knowing the odds are against them is simply heroic. Each one of those people are heroes in my mind.

May God be with everyone of those passengers and their families.
