Discover Card: $20 Reward == $25 Borders GC?!

I just tried to redeem my $20 Reward for the $40 Borders GC, but they've changed it to a $25 Borders GC. What kinda $hit is that?! Any ideas of what I should redeem for instead?
 
Damn that's lame. How about Staples reward; that should be double value? I won't know until I redeem next month.

I'm not sure with the Discover Staples bonus, but the nice thing about Staples Business Rewards check is that you can use it once online and once in store when you surrender the coupon. So the actual value is double. Since I've heard of people using their Discover Staples reward over the phone, I don't see why the same strategy would not apply.
 
i thought you had to spend a certain amount in order to get the $40 reward to work...like $40 off of $200 or something.
 
No it's supposed to be $40 off of $40, which since you have to spend $20 to get it is like $20 off of $40 really.
 
I have a borders GC for $15 but everything is so bloody expensive their it's a waste of a good card.
